    The clinton county fair book is like your favorite recording artist's concert program at their live events. Each year, the agricultural society compiles helpful details:

    The Fairway - Food & Rides



    Whether you are there to show, or just to enjoy, there is always something good on the fairway!

    Who doesn't love cotton candy, elephant ears and kettle corn? Your long-time fair favorites are always there with a new fun find or two each year.

    Excited about the rides? Each year, there is one day to ride for free (we'll talk about that in a minute).

    As the saying goes: Work hard, play hard. Over the years, the Clinton County Fair has been host to big stars like Crystal Gayle. Look forward to a variety musical entertainment:

    • Bluegrass

    • Rock

    • Country

    • Gospel

    Acts are different each year, and sometimes includes a talent search.

    Grandstand and Infield events include:

    • Antique & Garden Tractor Pulls

    • Demolition Derby

    • Harness Racing

    • 4-H/FFA Olympics

    • Clinton County Shootout

    • Several classes of truck and tractor pulls

    The grandstand comes alive in the evenings - Demolition Derby is a long-time favorite of many.

    Clinton County Fair Livestock Exhibitions

    Both kids and adults learn and work for months to be ready for their moment to impress spectators.

    As visitors stroll from exhibition hall to the showing areas, you are sure to be impressed. Exhibitors are friendly, and it is often interesting to learn the history behind the year's competition choice.

    Look for, "Shaker-Shaker-Butter-Maker," a fun and new tradition from the 4-H Dairy Club. Watch participants turn whole cream into butter before your eyes!

    Tractor Pulls & Truck Pulls



    This is the largest segment of entertainment at the grandstand! Clinton County fair tractor pull has hosted some of the best at making the smoke and noise you are looking for from top-torqued tractors. Trucks too -- Here's a list of what to look forward to:

    These events can be heard for miles around, so be ready!

    Livestock Auctions



    They're there to show, but also sell.

    Ohio's Clinton County Fair brings in a large visitor population just for the auction events! Spectators will find in the stands:

    • Parents and family of exhibitors

    • Locals just hanging out

    • Area business leaders

    • Regional elected officials


    4-H coordinators have historically done a fabulous job educating livestock exhibitors. In turn, the auction representatives have done a great job of consistently securing record prices for livestock grand champions.

    The livestock auctions are something to see!


    Where To Stay



    While camping is available at the fairgrounds all year long, lots are always sold out for the Clinton County Fair. Camp sites are $25.00 each and that includes water, electric, and the use of the dump station.

    Pricing And Hours



    Make a day of it and go from early in the morning until late at night. Or, make a week of it and attend specific events each day. Pricing:

    • Daily gate entry - $7.00

    • Season pass - $25.00

    • Kids 8 and under free

    The gates are open for visitors at the Clinton County Fair as early as 9am, and gates close at 11pm.

    Tip: Ride free on Mondays; Tuesdays are special discount day for Seniors, Veterans, Kids, and it is also Game Day.

    The Clinton County Fair is an event organized by the Clinton County Agricultural Society.

    Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Fair Books are available in the Fair Office and Expo Building.
